• Sam Bradley

    Senior Pastor/Elder

    Since the young age of 18, Sam has served in many areas of ministry. He graduated from Baptist Bible College in 2000 with a degree in Youth and Bible. He later obtained his Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling in 2009 from Baptist Bible Graduate School. Sam is a certified counselor with ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). In December of 2012, Sam was voted in as the Senior Pastor of Heritage. He and his wife, Crystal, have been married since 1996 and have 2 children. 

  • Eldon Busenitz

    Associate Pastor/Elder

    Eldon and Marliss moved to this area in 2014. Before moving to Texas they were involved in church ministry in Nebraska, South Dakota, and Michigan where Eldon was senior pastor of three different churches for a total of 46 years. His ministry in these church centered around expository teaching and preaching of God’s word. He continues to have a deep love and passion for studying God’s Word and building it into the lives of God’s people.


    Family has always been very important to Eldon and Marliss. They have three children and 13 grandchildren.

    Associate pastor of students/music

    Jonathan joined the staff of Heritage in August of 2023. He came from Tyler, Texas, where he was born and raised. The Lord saved Jonathan at the age of seven. Years later, Jonathan began to aspire to pastoral ministry while in his church’s youth group. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master of Divinity from the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and playing disc golf. His parents and older sister live in Tyler.

  • Bob Vercher

    Elder

    Bob accepted Christ at an early age. He has been a member of Heritage since March of 2007 and was ordained as an elder in March of 2014. He received his Bachelors Degree and his Masters Degree from Austin College. He is a lifetime educator in the Texas public school system. Bob also teaches Sunday school at Heritage. He and his wife, Beth, have been married since June of 1984 and have two adult daughters.
